Hutsuls

They're a Rusyn sub-group from northern Romania and south-east Ukraine. Apparently their name comes from the Romanian word for thief, hoțul. (ț is pronounced as ts)

I thought these could be the group of my ancestors, but I am unsure. They were in Caras-Serevin so quite far away from the north. I looked up Hutsul names and Tanase, Cojocaru, Nedelcu, and Alzetsky don't show up as common ones for them.
