Are you going to tell Davidski to put them under East German? That way the remaining Germans could be renamed West German.

    Yes, I agree.
PS does anyone have idea why I always have worst fit on Global 25 our of all east euro users? Ph2ter noticed that too.
I was playing with all kinds of models (using even 6-10 difference ancient populations), and never could lower the fit to very good distance.

Starting to think I have some genetic drift because of being 50% Islander.

After adding Imperial Rome & Latini averages new results:

    43% Dutch
    3% Belgian
    1% Swiss
    1% French
    ======
    23% Sorb
    18% Celtic
    6% Roman
    5% Balkan*

*This can represent Rhaetians and similar populations.
(because this Balkan includes ancient Croatia/Dalmatia)

maybe something is missing from all those models. you got that Dagestani admixture in your living dna results.

I can but I will add Etruscans instead (they were closely related to Rhaetians in South Germany):

And I can get freakishly close fits, Idk why. I think you may be onto something with the genetic drift idea.

Removing Bulgaria and Bronze Age Croatia, using just Iron Age Dalmatia, did not change much.

Balkan just dropped from 5% to 4.5%. Etruscan is not preferred instead of Iron Age Dalmatian.
