They are at least 10%-20% more euro than chileans and that difference is huge(lets remember that Chile is like 55/60% euro and Argentina is 72/78% euro and Argentina is a new settlement country) while Cuba and Puerto Rico are over 65% of euro ancestry in most genetic studies(and they are one of the populations with more studies). But you are answering your own question, cubans and puerto ricans look more swarthy and less caucassian on average than chileans due the african admixture.

But anyway your are missing the point of the thread and the point of my explication as well since you do a discusion about who looks more whiter and not who is more european and its clear that Im talking in ancestry terms.

I don't know, but was an apocalypse to natives. Before arrive of spaniards the territory of Costa Rica had 400k of natives, after independence they were only 60k of people in Costa Rica (mostly mestizos, then spaniards according to church census). I need to point that spaniards brough medicines that save a lot of lives (that means an increase in the population growth). One element here:
-Spaniards rape amerindian women.
-Spaniards took down amerindian man.
-Mestizos reproduced in large scale with mestizos and other spaniards (and this explain why most people here have the same surnames).

Spaniards did not rape Amerindian women, that is a myth and it is very well documented is false. They had not the need to rape Amerindian women. In the Amerindian society, in every of them, the Amerindian women were pure merchandise, they were offered from tribe to tribe, and so happened when Spaniards arrived.

The most famous example, la Malinche, the Amerindian lover of Hernán Cortés. She was offered from her tribe to Tlaxcaltecas, and when Spaniards arrived, she was offered by the Tlaxcaltecas to Spaniards.
