I'm speaking personally: Ireland, USA, Japan. These are the countries that my view of life, ideals and lifestyle are associated with.

But if I really have to go with a cultural one; I'd say Greece and Bulgaria because my hometown is closer to these countries and there are a lot of common cultural elements. Also Azerbaijan, ofc.

Geographical proximity doesnt mean cultural proximity as Well. Morocco is geographically closer to Spain, but you can not say its culturally closer to Spain than to Arabia or Yemen

If you live in eastern thrace, then you can claim that you are intermediate to Bulgaria and the Levant, as your area certainly shares a lot with Bulgaria but also a lot with the levant which due to religion are uncommon in Bulgaria

Greece on the contrary is irrelevant to all this, as with the exception of a small part of the country (western thrace) the rest has more to do with southwest Europe and west Balkans, and much less with eastern Balkans, let alone the predominantly muslim eastern thrace
