Why do you deny their existence for? Lol. Bosniaks have at least existed around the same time as the Croats and the Serbs. The reason why the Bosniaks converted to Islam is because unlike the Croats who belong to the Catholic church and your people belong to the Eastern Orthodox church, Bosniaks belonged to their own unique and independent church that was seen as heresy by both the Catholics and the Orthodox Christians, and when the Ottomans invaded Bosnia, the Bosniak Christians felt very betrayed by their own Christian brethren who refused to send help to them and etc which they later converted to Islam because of it.

Ancestors of large of Bosnian Muslims not lived in Bosnia in the middle age, but came to Bosnia as refugees (muhajeers) from Hungary, Slavonia, Vojvodina, Lika, Dalmatia and Bay of Kotor in late 17th and early 18th century, and from central/western Serbia and Montenegro during the 19th century.

There is no evidence that Bogomils were widespread in Bosnia outside noble circles. It was most likely inhabited by a majority of Catholics at that time. Most Bosniaks today would probably trace their ancestry to a Catholic or Orthodox by just going back a few centuries and many of them even have recent ancestry from Serbia. Bogomilism is the biggest larp in Balkan history, it's a cope since they don't want to be associated with either Croats or Serbs.
