Of the 20th century right, and who is specialised in human classification in this time? Im sure there are some qualified people for this matter, but noone is busy with this topic anymore. Because political reasons at one hand, and because you can't really prove anyting with it scientifically.

Yes, but i am not sure that professionals would come on TA and classifying people for free, like we amateurs do

I wish someone here defends geographically biased classifications so that we could make fun of him or her.

Honesty, we should just get rid of the taxonomy forum.

Why would anyone use old scientific methods when they have much better and more accurate technology?
This is wrong though. Real physical anthropology isn't a pseudo-science at all and even the stuff that Coon said has just been supported in many cases by modern genetics. Anyone who's actually read his books can't really argue against that.

Classifications like "Pontid" or "Dinarid" or whatever are pseudo-science.

Even today there are still big papers on Physical Anthropology, using modern statistics tools. For example: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-018-35426-z

Yes I don't know why people that say that "classifications are bullshit" throw the same critic to Physical Anthropology. It's a field used in legal medecine.

The new technologies of modelization and scan 3D have revolutionized this field by the way.

This thread will now be known as "The Great TA Classification Revolt of Nov. 2019". They'll write about it in the history books. People have had enough. Glad I was here to witness it firsthand.
