Which monument is the most impressive of the world?

For me is el Valle de los Caídos (Fallen´s Valley). It is located in middle of the forest in the Sierra de Guadarrama, Madrid and has the tallest Christian cross of the world (150 m.), which is visible from over 32 kms. away.

It served as the burial place of Francisco Franco's remains from his death in November 1975 until his exhumation on 24 October 2019, as a result of efforts to remove all public veneration of his dictatorship, and following a long legal process.
Work started in 1940 and took over eighteen years to complete. It includes an underground basilica (its dimensions, as excavated, are larger than those of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome), a Benedictine abbey, etc.

Colosseum - Desolated, lots of history, lots of dead people and the great movie, the Spainard who just wanted to return to his home.







Abu Simbel, first time I saw in movie Mummy when I was a kid, later on photos imagine how big this is an how much work and dead people it had to take, egyptians were on another level.



Kremlin - Mighty Russia, reminds me of damned communist power







Mosque Sheikh Zayed - Actially this Mosque looks incredible, would visit once, the oil money hit hard UAE.

For me, it's ancient Petra which houses Al-Khazneh(treasury in Arabic) which was built by the ancient Arab Nabatean more than 2,000 years ago under Aretas IV Philopatris reign(7arithah in Arabic):



It's very impressive that it was built by nomadic Arab Bedouins at the time.

The Sphinx of ancient Egypt. This is one of the most impressive monuments in the world built by the ancient Egyptians more than 4,500 years ago mostly likely by the Pharaoh, Khafre:

Persepolis - the ancient Persian city of the Achaemenid empire which was the largest ancient empire in history:

For me the Coliseo is highly overrated. Yes, it has a lot of history, but impressive? it seems more a ruins than anything else...
