What is sort of strange to me is that in some of these there are more blonds than people with light brown hair. Light brown hair will always be more frequent than blonds. Anyway I think for these studies to be legit they would need to be performed by actually seeing the people in person and by someone who is an anthropologist. Photos can be very deceiving. You would have to make sure hair dye isn't a factor as well. While interesting I wouldn't take these surveys as the bee's knees. Thanks for the effort though. I couldn't do this myself.

To me someone like Macron has medium brown hair, while he considers him to have light brown hair from what I have read.

I think the most interesting part of such surveys when following the same criterion is they show trends - whether in the distribution of a specific trait within a population or compared to others. The pure blue eyes/pure grey eyes ratio among Hungarian men, for instance - really amazing difference I hadn't observed so far... What's more interesting intermediate grey-blue eyes are rather common.

Didn't you say that you don't even count #6 on Bunak scale (regular green) as light-colored?

I classified 2, 14, 25, 28, 29, 33, and 34 as hazel (not light-colored).

He's not lighter than you. Compare photos of you and him outside:



You're still a little lighter than him. I would treat you as blonde and him as light brown-haired.
Your roots are also lighter than his.

Women are blonder everywhere. If I counted fake blondes with naturally brown/dark hair the number would have increased to above 35%, for sure. I counted these with their natural brown/dark shades, of course.
