Older men seem to lose their modesty. I joined a swimming club recently and when I go I am actually one of the younger ones by far. So some of the men like to make small talk with me some times. I don't mind this, but why do they have to do it with everything just hanging out? No clothes on. "How was your swim today ?" Oh it was fine, but, you know, it's okay to put your clothes on. That's why I'm getting ready to change in the stall . That's what I think to myself. At least the younger men have more modesty. When I'm in the locker room, I just want to get in and out with no hassle. I don't like to hang out naked with the boys.

The pool requires that we shower before entering. I take a shower at home then a shower in my bathing suit there. Some places require you store everything in the locker room. I avoid the one at the Y because it has reputation.

Remember that the older men of now are the former hippies of 68 and the summer of love. Older generation is not anymore what they have been anymore either. In 40 years old people will be tattood because most young people now are tattood and they will be old in 40 years.

What's wrong with being naked? Do you feel threatened or aroused by naked men talking to you? Or maybe you're so ashamed of your own physique you feel uncomfortable seeing imperfections of others?

Whatever the reason hiding it behind fake modesty won't work. Modesty is all about avoiding stimulation of inappropriate emotional responses in other sex whatever that could be.
