It doesn't bother me, I just find it weird. I like to get dressed and then talk. Why is everyone reading "gay" into this? I just wonder if it's something to do when you get older you don't care if you are naked or awkward so much.

Whatever the reason hiding it behind fake modesty won't work. Modesty is all about avoiding stimulation of inappropriate emotional responses in other sex whatever that could be.

Nothing is wrong with being naked in your own home and privacy. But in public areas, it's different. Perhaps you're one of the Europeans who like to bathe in the buff. Here in the USA, we are much different about this.

Regarding beach culture, things are slowly changing in NZ.

When we first came here, NZ women were tantamount to veiled at beaches.

Today, the womenfolk are much more comfortable about showing off what God gave them.

Here in the states, anyone walking around outside the beach area in swimwear attire may be asked to change . We have decency laws.

Nothing is wrong in being naked in public so long as there is no sexual context to it. If you feel sexual tension in company of naked men, be it positive or negative, then I have bad news for you.

Judging by your other threads I don't think you are gay but rather a little shy (it's not my business though).
