Default Do Faelid people have a resemblance to cats?

Is that why they're called faelid(similar to Felid)?

Yep, they have positive canthal tilts just like cats. Also, compact mid face and good forward growth are feline traits. This is why most models, actors, actresses have Faelid admixture.

I've never understood their (Faelids) appeal.

I don't consider them a member of the set of the most attractive European phenotypes.

    Just writing my truth.

Interesting. I seem to have some of these traits(forward growth, slight positive canthal tilt, compact mid face. I’d be Faelid too right? Never been classified as that though

I know you're joking, but here's what SNPA says (https://www.theapricity.com/snpa/rg-dalofalid.htm):

The various terms with -Falid/Faelid/Phalian derive from the term fälisch, which was coined by Günther (fälische Rasse). It refers to Westfalen (Westphalia), where the type was believed to be especially numerous. The Dalisch/Dalo-element derives from the Swedish toponym Dalarna, where the type was first identified by Paudler in 1924 (dalische Rasse).

I guess these are "feline" features:

The Dalo-Falid head is meso- to dolichocephalic, and is characterized by a wedge-like shape. The face is broad and somewhat short, often giving the impression of a compressed Nordid, which undoubtedly reflects the partial contribution of Dalo-Falid or a similar Cro-Magnid strain to the historical formation of the Nordid types. The maxillary bones are strongly developed.

    [...]

The nose is relatively short, yet thin (meso- to leptorrhine), and often protrusive. The profile is mostly straight, with a slight tendency towards concavity (rather than convexity).

However the four features I bolded above are even more pronounced in East Baltids. SNPA also says about East Baltids, "As for the shape of the eyes, they are frequently oblique, and more often so than in any other Europid type." However maybe SNPA does not count Lappid as a Europid type.

I was not joking and I can’t be blamed for thinking that. They sound very similar

Jokes aside, some lion-like features exist.
