    Default 2 questions for atheists

Science tells us that from matter, such as dust and rocks, some how came a tiny living cell which then evolved to such an advanced state that this "matter" this "dust and rocks" can now literally contemplate its own existence. (I believe this btw). My first question is, does it not take faith to just assume that this was all an accident, that some how out of pure chance dirt can contemplate its own existance? Seems like it takes a lot of faith to believe this. My second question is, if it was an accident and there is no meaning to everything then why does this life that came from dust and rocks strive so hard to keep living, and doesnt want to just go back to dust and rocks, why does life strive so hard to keep on living? Seems to me that there is some deeper "will" in the universe which desires for life to exist. Im interested to hear Atheists response as I've never met one who could give me a satisfactory answer to these questions.

    1) You question seems to take the sentence "from dust to dust" quite literally, which is incorrect, so there is a prolem right there.
    2) But it does, it is called entropy.

entropy describes a mechanism of physics, doesnt at all have an answer as to why life strives so hard to keep on living.

Life. Take a simpler example of a virus that installs itself on a host (and can kill it) just to proliferate.
I think there is no explanation for the struggle for the life and reproduction of biological organisms.

Plants do not have a brain, but strangely they have a basic instinct.

    Because life is wonderful.

a virus isnt technically life but I get your point, im not denying that competition exists but why does life in general compete so hard and want to keep on existing, where is this desire to live coming from? Same with plants they dont have a brain but have an instinct points even more to this fact, that there is some desire to live in nature.

The first cell (unicellular) duplicates or generates a copy of itself. The chemical organization to form a complex biological is not known and makes no sense.

"Some how" is not science... So you believe in something that is not "science"...

A possible answer is in the first cell, DNA creation. 1 gram of DNA = 700 TB information. A simple plant has billions of cells is very complex.
