Maybe he is descendants of Serbian convertits on Greeco-Catholicism in Drniš area in 1830s and 1840s who later brcame Catholics. Šibeniki is close to Drniš. In the first half of 19th century center of Unijat movement in Dalmatia were Kričke https://sh.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kričke_(Drniš)
