A totally subjective opinion. They were cutting edge and inventive for there time unlike 99.9% of architecture. I guess people prefer lame Neo-classical rip off architecture to progress style. Sweeping roof-lines and glass are the devil boy! Do you know anything about the philosophy behind Googie? It's nicer than the Waffle House in your town, I can tell you that much.

It bores me but worst of all modern (anything after the 1930s) interpretations of Neo-Classical architecture are horrible. This isn't the 1920s when they had the craftsman to execute the ornate art and details. It ends up looking like crap and has no vision. What do you think new construction should look like?
