When I say they vary, I don't mean discretely between Sephardi and Mizrachi, but continously. It's very difficult to find a Syrian Jew who is purely Mizrachi or purely Sephardi. The reference here might be about half and half.

Did Sephardim mix with Mizrahim in Syria? I think Damascus and Aleppo Jews did not, for example, but idk if that was the only 'restriction'
