Default Do people lose their accent when they sing?

Can you identify an accent in a singing voice rather than speaking? Seems unless they are trying to push it or something the voice will become accentless? Or something?

Patsy Cline did not have an accent when she sang:

But she kind of had a Virginian Appalachian accent in her speech:

This Englishman sounds normal when he sings:

Bonnie Tyler no accent when she sings

Can barely understand her when she talks:

Oasis not too much accent in their singing

    Unintelligible Englishmen here:

Depends, sometimes the accent is still apparent- some Beatles songs, for instance.

That's still an accent. It's just that the accent is less apparent when singing.
