    I'm not going to argue the OPs "polish-ness" but the use of the expression - "if he can, then you can too" implies that the former has less (quantity, quality, etc.) than the latter. There's a big difference between this man and OP. Your example has a strong baltid base or admixture (depending on whether you think baltid is dominant or secondary) and thus a slavic look. OP doesn't have baltid and is considerably more refined in his facial features and thus more southern.
