Well, under the Egyptian Pharaoh, Senusret III, used to hunt down Blacks of Sudan for sport, and he pretty much forbade any Black from entering any Egyptian temples in Thebes and other major Egyptian cities in 19th century BC. This is how he looked like:
They know that only MENA peoples(sometimes Europeans as well) can be ancient Egyptians if they managed to assimilate like the Berbers and the Semites of Canaan and etc while Blacks couldn't be ethnically Egyptians no matter how much they assimilate themselves to Egypt. Ethnic identity is linked with the race of the person. Like, people like me or you for example can never be say Bantus or Igbo since we're not racially blacks, or any non-Mongoloid peoples of the world can never able to assimilate to the Chinese or Japanese ethnic groups and etc. They know these things quite well, but they pretend they don't which is why these many Afrocentric lunatics don't only steal the accomplishments and histories of Europeans but also our histories when they claim that the ancient Egyptians, Carthaginians, Phoenicians, other Canaanites, and hell even the ancient Arabs as originally Blacks when in reality they were not. The conflicts between west and east would be subsided if we ever respected each others spaces and boundaries.

She is right when saying English is not a nationality but an ethnicity since there is no such thing as English passport. However, I would also like to criticise her that she got herself so involved into the absurd event.

Pretty much, yeah. Also, Blacks have no role in the foundation of ancient Egypt either. It was the ancient Mesopotamians and Levantines that had very close ties with ancient Egypt more than 5,000 years ago:
