    Northern Argentines/Bolivians/Paraguayans of Colonial stock that is have been longer then any post-independence immigration wave of European immigrant descendants so I would really call it an invasion unless were talking about Bolivian and Paraguayan immigrants in Buenos Aires and even then they’re mostly of colonial stock who are very related to the people of northern Argentina who have been there for generations. That’s like saying Americans of colonial stock from the Southeast immigrating westward or northward in the country when it’s the same country lol.

    (I lived in Peru for 6 years btw, so I know the country pretty well)
    In the north of Peru there is a higher percentage of whites / Castizos than Lima, also a greater European mix than the capital, and less Amerindian.
