They were already very light skinned. Sintashta derived from Yamnaya + Globular Amphora. Yamnaya was EHG + CHG, which I think would've be as light skinned as Globular Amphora. Maybe not as light as modern day Northern Europeans though.

I forgot the old joke behind that. A bunch of eastern hunter gatherer cowboys on horseback kidnapped some Armenian women and voila, the Yamnaya were born.

You mean G 25. Yes they do, from Poland and Ukraine. They apparently mixed with different Hunter gatherers(I2a2) as opposed to the ones in Sardinia(I2a1)

Are they a more Stepped-out version of EEF then? I understand EEF would be best represented by modern day Sardinians but what about Globularstanis? Who would they be closest to in terms of modern-day populations?

They didn't have Steppe. Modern day Sardinians arent pure EEF either and have never been pure EEF

They're closer to Sardinians than anyone else. They eventually mixed with Steppe people (into Corded Ware/Sintashta), but when they started out they started out as EEF + some extra WHG.

Ok let me clarify some things about my opinion in all this, I’m not butt-hurt because I’m part EEF and I’m not a nordist as the indo-Europeans were certainly not Nordic in the modern sense of the word, modern indo-Europeans as we know them in Europe are somewhere between like 25-40% EEF in just northern and Central Europe alone, they where a unique and fascinating people, but were stunted in their development do to the over reliance of farming that made them short, with decaying teeth, died young, had more wars and diseases...
the indo Europeans where the definition of perfect health, riding on the steppe eating mostly meat and cheese with small amounts of fruits and vegetables on the side, while exercising their strength in hunting and war, hell some ancient accounts state the Scythians subjugated most of the Middle East for over a 1000 years with a tributary taxes that only ended after some very chaotic events

Like the Vikings, the Indo Europeans didn't make as much headway in heavily populated areas, southern Europe. They just took the path of least resistance, sparsely populated Northern Europe. Btw, is there really proof that Indo Europeans lived longer lives than EEF?
