    What about Bulgar theory?
Bulgar-speaking tribes (onogurs, barsils, sabirs) were settled only in plain Daghestan, where they constituted khazar nation. Modern KB land was part of Alania. After massacre of Alans by Tamerlane, this area was settled by Svans and Abaza, who mixed with kipchak-speaking refugees from cities of Golden Horde.

KB Turkics aren't Vaynakhs. The only common thing between them is racial type (Mtebid).

I mean some common shared folklore and mythology among the Iranic Ossetians, Turkic KB, and Abkhaz-Adygeans including Nakhs

I think they're Kipchaks who mixed with native Caucasian peoples. 'Cause they're genetically so close to their non-Turkic neighbours(such as Adyghe, Ossetian, Chechen etc.)

Why all the way from the Danube? The Cuman realm stretched all the way into north-eastern Kazakhstan. I think the Cumans who settled in KB gorges/valleys could have just as easily came from the Volga river and surrounds.

My belief is most European Cumans/Pechenegs etc. emigrated to Anatolia, by incorporating into the Ottoman empire. That's why we don't see many East-Asian genes in Eastern Europe even though Cumans/Pechenegs were geopolitically dominant in the area for some time.
