Well.. it's not like the Chinese don't turn their whole country into a chemical dump. But, I still think the British should seek ways to re-cycle their waste as it contains resources. Resources that now need to be imported.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

The U.K. is taking extra measures and steps each year into recycling more waste. The current recycling rate here is not within the 50%-100% target range yet, but the recycling rate is steadily improving each year with encouragement and recycling facilities, and children are also being educated in schools about this too for future generations to learn to recycle their waste.

For well over a decade now we've had a lot of recycling schemes and loads of recycling centres and free recycling baskets given to residents with regular collection several times each week all over the place here.

Combine this with the ever growing amount of energy-efficient modern architecture here designed by Lord Norman Foster, the 'Shard' skyscraper in London was built using 95% recycled materials, and the increasing use of electric vehicles, bicycle lanes, etc, which all shows our country is doing its bit for the environment and wildlife, whilst saving on resources such as petrol, plastics, and trees, etc, as increasing demands for resources on an overpopulated planet threatens future supplies.

The use of plastic bags to deliver groceries to peoples doors via online UK supermarkets were recently banned. There's extra charges (by law) to buy a plastic bag to carry your groceries in many UK supermarkets, and people are encouraged to use reusable bags when shopping to save on plastic waste.

China and India causes a lot more toxic waste and pollution than Europe, and both of their countries are heavily overpopulated with over 1.2 billion people in each nation.
