But now, as a Christian, you should understand why he prioritises Israel over a predominantly Muslim country like Palestine. I think his stance is pretty clear and graspable, since most American Christians have fondness and respect towards Israel because, well, Jesus is a Jew and the nation spawned the Judaeo-Christian faith. So it will seem understandable why they 'prefer' Israel over Palestine, which is 85% Islamic. There is no conspiracy theory or agenda here, contrary to what anti-Zionists think. I think you should have some respect for Trump, not because of his stance on Zionism, but because he prioritised Middle Eastern Christian minorities who have been persecuted there. The complexity of it all lies in the multitude of factions within both British and American establishments. The whole picture is dynamic. Sometimes interests of different factions aligned and then entire Anglo-American political world act as one. In some cases interests of factions differ a lot and then you see few taking heads arguing. Most of the times interests of factions aligned in some aspects and totally opposite in others so they are allies and rivals and the same time. That makes the whole picture is nearly impossible for outside observer to read, we see contradictory actions taking place. Only after some time when outcomes could be traced the puzzle comes together. And that's only UK and US. Europe has factions of its own. So does Russia, Iran, Turkey, China etc. The whole thing is one massive mess.
