When it comes to the USA's image abroad, that is.

Bad and good at the same time.
It comes of like a place with fake people rich and homeless people with drugs everywhere.
At the same time it comes of like a wealthy prosperous place with nice climate and places.

Im talking in overal about Los Angeles - Hollywood

Like the neighborhood of LA? or as a metaphor for the entertainment industry originating out of Hollywood?

In both cases, they give a far too liberal and upper-class impression of the United States i'd say...

The US is a very culturally diverse country as far as regional differences are concerned, I live in the midwest now and have spent a lot of time in downeast Maine and no TV show or movie is representative of either area.
