Well, somebody will understand "most multiethnic = least white", but for example inside the non-whites you have variety, for example Vancouver is mostly chinese, lacking other types of non-whites, even asian non-whites; while in Los Angeles is mostly mexican, a bit centralamerican (similar to mexicans) and a bit black.

Surely the most multiethnic city, taking into account its diversity is New York (jews, all types of european nationalities, all types of latin americans, many types of asians, hindus, blacks), then would come Sao Paulo (has spaniards-portuguese-italians-germans, japanese, lebanese, blacks, pardos, bolivians), Paris and London are too diverse, but they are just some types of concrete europeans, MENAS, jews and blacks, and Londos has too hindus. I wouldn´t know how to qualify Melbourne, Sydney and Toronto. And the least multhietnic are surely Vancouver and Los Angeles by the mentioned before.

If this is kind of a list of the most diverse cities in the world, you have forgotten one: Brussels

Paris is in a very good position IMO.

People don't realise that most of the Paris region is being replaced and it's even accelerating these years.

From what I gather, ethnic minorities in Paris and other French cities are usually more in the outskirts, which is the opposite of what usually happens in UK and US cities.

Vancouver and LA both have lots of Asian groups too (and not just Chinese either). Not to mention the vast numbers of Jews, European nationalities and, in LA's case, Iranians and Armenians who live there.

Cancun is more diverse than Sao Paulo, I have been to that Brazilian city and it is far from being diverse, nothing like you find in other major first world cities, that is because no one really wants to move there in large numbers. Latin America simply just doesn't attract such diverse immigration population in this era because it's not a first world region.

dont mind him, he has never traveled outside his barrio in Argentina
there are more Asians in Los Angeles than blacks according to the last census that took place in America
the number of Asian immigrants kept increasing throughout all these years, which means the Asian population should be around 13% of the Los Angeles population
while the black population should be around 7% (it decreased since many of them have been moving out to cheaper states)

I know what you mean, but they do have a very diverse range of mixtures and phenotypes. Also, even though there is not that much contemporary immigration to Sao Paulo compared to the other listed cities (except for Bolivians and Venezuelans), it still has the largest Lebanese population outside Lebanon, the largest Italian population outside Italy, the largest Japanese population outside Japan...

yeah but that is a norm among Latin Americans with a majority mix race population

That is because a Brazilian with only one great grandparent from Lebanon can still claim being Lebanese, their census is based on having known ancestry from such places, not direct ancestry
do you really think majority of those Lebanese and Italians in Brazil are actually fully Lebanese and Italians? hell no

you really cant take Latin American census too serious

True, but Brazilian mixes are more interesting than most, as you have substantial amounts of European (both North and South), Amerindian, West African, Middle Eastern and East Asian all potentially in one.

That is because a Brazilian with only one great grandparent from Lebanon can still claim being Lebanese, their census is based on having known ancestry from such places, not direct ancestry

Granted, but that still doesn't entirely negate the fact that those ethnic groups are massive there.
