I wonder do you think is he THE BEST football player of all time?

To me there is no doubt, Diego is not only the best football player of all time; DIEGO IS FOOTBALL ITSELF.

NO ONE BEFORE OR AFTER DIEGO, NO ONE EVER HAD CHARISMA OF DIEGO MARADONA, NO ONE, and you know it... he was THE GOD, to me.

Still to this day until I die; to me there is only one PICTURE OF FOOTBALL; NUMBER 10 ON DIEGO'S BACK.

Question in poll is not only for Latin Americans, but for all Apricity users.

Not at all, football maybe got less violet but the competetivness is several times harder. Nowaydays you have best players in the best clubs 30-40 years ago many players couldnt even leave their own countries.

And by the way, he never won world cup with Argentina, and Diego made ARGENTINA BY HIMSELF the world champions in 1986, by himself, ONE MAN TEAM.

No matter what you say, the history will always show this fact; Messi never won world cup with Argentina, and Maradona did, by himself led Argentina.

Sorry but a cocaine lover in the field is not very high on my sportsman list. Also, besides the constant drug abuse, I cannot separate the person quality to the skills; the guy is a horrible father and person, a bad example at everything. He's a living legend that cannot be understood for all the pills he swallows. Someone that came from the very bottom of society and had many chances to become a good role model, a good person, yet he stood there at the bottom morally.

Now, if you say MESSI, that's a whole different story.
