Euro ,but why tactic should matter ,Italians have been doing it for decades ,Mourinho won a cl that way as well...
plus back then most of our basic players were playing in the big leagues , many coming from Panathinaikos academies which had great appearances in CL too the years before ,it's not like they were complete "amateurs".

What we lack here is proper infrastructure&mentality to put in work...otherwise we should be at the same level with the rest of med teams.
