Why do some people hate Amerindians? What's wrong with being Native Americans?

Backward in what sense? Because speaking a non spanish language is backward that society despite those languages being ethnolingustic languages.

Lol there are entire threads about how Native majority regions are lower crime than non native regions though poorer. The highest crime rates in South America is Columbia and Venezuala, not exactly Native countries. Ultimately I think its has to do more with the colonial casta system.

Interesting. In Mexico, Natives are seen as quite maize farming worker bees. In fact they are also viewed like that in the American SW where they do most of the outdoor work

In Brazil natives are seen as either exotic or savages
Exotic cause they barely exist in the most populated areas of the country at this point,you need to visit isolated areas of the country too see them.
