Which form of public transport do you prefer: trains or buses?

I see lots of gentlemen dressed in their smart business suits and carrying their expensive briefcases and reading their large financial newspapers whilst commuting in London on the trains... it's the quickest and most convenient and practical way of getting somewhere quickly in LDN.

People have to pay congestion charges to drive through the very slow and congested zones 1 & 2 each day in Central London, and there's lots of road cameras and speed cameras - which are quick to photograph and fine people over minor errors or for not paying the congestion charge.

Cars are frequently slapped with large fine tickets and are often lifted up and towed away if they park for longer than a few mins beyond their ticket time... (I've seen some luxurious cars being lifted high in the air and towed away in LDN,) and that's after they've spent over 20 minutes driving around searching for a spare place to park somewhere.

More comfortable, more stable. You can take a walk not just sitting down. And trains have a special charm.

I often travel in the triangle Russia-Ukraine-Armenia and if there is a choice, then I prefer the train, but there is not always a choice. From my last trips: Russia Ukraine - train, Russia Armenia - plane, Armenia Ukraine - plane, Ukraine Russia - bus.
