Between me and my girlfriend we currently have three cars in our household but to be honest I avoid using them in business days. I willingly go to work every day by train and walk a few kilometers to the office instead of taking a bus (unless it is pouring rain).
Between trains and buses I think I prefer trains, especially from Cascais to Lisbon because we are privileged to have this nice view:
It is great to start the day with a nice view along the coast-line.

LOL. Here using the train is still done by everybody: businesspeople who don't want to be stuck in traffic, government ministers (yes !), members of parliament, professors, students, office workers, the poor, unemployed - it's still something done across the board. In fact: a minister of government should feel ashamed of himself if he arrives to Parliament in a chauffeur-driven car in front of the camera: people are actually offended by those ministers. This is how they are expected to arrive:

But, yes, I understand why Teutone thinks that only the poor use public transport (never mind, you pay quite handsomely for a ICE First Class ticket): Germany's infrastructure is, at present, not much better than America's. They have been neglecting it for the last ... at least 30, 40 years. Good: they did built a few high speed lines but the publicity masked the fact that the rest was/is falling apart (including the national highway system). The internet is slow compared to much of Western Europe - the infrastructure is hopelessly outdated. Some of the security systems on the main rail network date back to the 19th century. That's how insane it is.

In Serbia trains are so slow (under 100km/h), and if you want to enjoy in nature, train is perfect solution, but if I want to do something fast, my pick is bus...

You're exaggerating, surely? Anyway, I increasingly think you are more of an American-style right-winger than a regular European one: you combine a deep social conservatism with an economic libertarianism and a strong disdain towards public welfare and public transport. In contrast, most European right-wingers (though admittedly less so in the UK than most of Mainland Europe) still place a certain level of consideration and respect for collective provision and services.
