nope i didnt include the NEA because its a tricky component. Blacks seem to score a good amount of NEA but some whites can score a certain amount of NEA too so i excluded it from the analysis.

This is correct, North African (haplogroup E1b1b) would be white Caucasian in Europeans and sub-Saharan African, dark-skinned Caucasian.

I think the problem with brazil is that its a huge country with big regional differences and this are just averages. Cuba and Puerto Rico are more homogeneous


For example in the brazilian sample you have ranges where the average is the result of very different extremes for example lets say 80%euro 20% amerindian in RGS and 20% euro 20% SSA in MG. Cuba and Puerto Rico are more homogeneous regionally

In PR people over 80% euro have the amerindian component as 60-70% of their non white blood when in Brazil over 80% euro people has amerindian as 50-60% of their non white blood.

Considering the big size of Brazil I imagine the non euro blood among whites of North, Sao Paulo, Ceará and South is mostly amerindian like around 60-70%.
At the time heavily european persons of Rio, Minas, Bahia and some other states have african as majority or at least half of their non white admixture. But of course thats only a speculation.

Ceará (Fortaleza-capital) it's balanced triracial.
São Paulo in almost all cities is predominantly African (16% AFR 8% NAM, approximately). The coast the Pardos is mostly amerindian.

In colonial times it was more likely a Euro man to marry an Amerindian (catechized) than a former slave, there was segregation as well.
Today (young people) may have married light brown who is part African.
