No they're not lol. All you have to do is take a genetic test and compare the results to ancient civilizations. Heres a sheet about europeans ethnicites scoring Indo-European and pre-indoeuropean admixture:

Yes.

Europeans/Whites are a race within the sub-species of Caucasoids/West Eurasians. NW/NE/SW Europeans etc are sub-races within the greater European race. East Meds are mixed race between Europeans and West Asians.

East Meds are generally between Post-Chacolithic Levant ( and Anatolia_BA which is very different from Barcin_N) and Europeans, not West Asians. West Asians are CHG and Iran_Chl/Iran_N rich populations like Iranians (Persians, Mazadernis, Lurs, Kurds etc) and Transcaucasia (Armenians, Avars, Lezgins, Adgye etc) and are heavy in Mesolithic ANE admixture compared to Levantines and Anatolian (who are more 'Med'). Although there are more non-steppe CHG/Iranian Farmer related ancestry in some southern Italian and Greek groups (e.g. J2 in Campinia), West Asian does not constitute the majority neolithic near eastern Ancestry.
