It seems that Tuscany is a good "frontier" from which the East Med continuum begin.

SEEs? East Meds as in those with a lot of MENA blood that cluster similarly (Jews, Maltese, S. Italians, Greek Islanders, Cypriots), between mainstream Euro's and the Levant. Balkanites are the genetic SE Euro's, Sardinians alone are West Meds.
