“Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains”
The chains that bind me,
I do not curse or scorn, instead I adore.
The chains that bind me,
I take time to give attention and care.
The chains that bind me, are heavy and I wish them to become heavier more.
Inescapable, unrelenting, possessing, and decreed by natural law
They pull me and throw me, they move me and overwhelm me, they drag me and force my submission.
For the chains that bind me are not of iron wrought, but blood, soil and soul, and crafted by divine hands.
See man was born of love, and attached, in one world cut, but not the other.
His bond his freedom, the greater the number, the greater the life.
For what is a man, if not a bond himself
Without them, an empty vessel, unadorned.
