They aren't in favor of it, but question is what would you prefer, Islam or polyteism. In our case we can't prefer Islam because for us (Serbs) Islam is related with traitors and enemies.

Also in modern political sense if you adopt Islam you get closer with all Muslim world which is non-European. So if you like to be closer with eg. Arabs than with other Europeans - enjoy. I don't like it.

However if this question is which would I prefer to be, this would depend greatly, since "European Paganism" is a rather doctrinally open category, I might well prefer to be say some variety of Neo-Platonist or Aristotelian rather than a Muslim, mostly because I do not want to adopt the barbarian laws, customs and language of their religion.

Islam is a heresy, therefore it's worse than paganism, paganism is just an estate of ignorance.

Islam is heresy. Islam is also the one thing most hostile to Christian European civilisation. Paganism is just heathenism - it's the absence of Christianity and the believe in God. Heresy is what twists that belief in God and abuses God for its own (often political or financial) ends. Heathens can be converted. Heretics ... ? Where is de Torquemada when you need him the most ?

Orthodox Christianity kept many Slavic pagan customs so my answer is obvious. Slavic paganism.

The same can be said for both Catholic and, in some areas such as Iceland, Protestant Christianity in regards to older Germanic customs.
