But I...already provided an instance of you attacking the pagans? The Franks attacking Germans and west Slavs, the Teutons attacking the Balts...
Slavery is a disease of civilization, not of paganism: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histor...#Classic_era_2
Modern society is slavery, just by a different name. We are indentured servants. We are indebted to the system.
The Vikings only started taking slaves on a mass scale to profit because it was mostly the Christian and Muslim societies buying slaves off of them. Can't fault a pimp.
Every major European piece of art had pagan motifs, even the Christian ones. Because the Christian art (which was Biblically inspired and thus constantly rehashed) was commissioned by the churches, and who did the church commission? Artists who couldn't make a living unless the Church funded them. It was a different time than the Classical era where artists were lauded for their own sake, and not for their capacity to make Christianity look good.
Oh and Da Vinci was a homosexual atheist, you really think he gave a fuck about the Pope?
The problem with the Dark Ages is that nearly every philosophical work, every architectural work, every artistic work, was done with the intent of bringing humanity closer to some vain image of God, like a giant tower of Babel. Classical Rome and Greece and the Renaissance were far superior to the Christian Dark Ages, BECAUSE of the fact that they were pagan, and not Christian.
