Poles have slightly more dark people, but the average pigmentation is otherwise pretty comparable. The dark people in Polish population likely account for a more prominent group.

Personally I think after WWII and heavy mixing of people from different regions the dark pigmentation increased comparing to anthro studies from '50 and pre-war. But to what extent is impossible to tell as no one make anthro surveys using the same pigmentation scales (Martin and Fischer-Saller) now.
But the same situation is in Russia probably.

Someone must look only on rural people from villages outside big citites proximity or outside tourist regions (so those where only locals are living) to check real regional pigmentation (of course in pre-war Polish borders). And it's hard to find photos from such places on Internet
