Lol it wasn't immigrants, it's a South Tyrolean thing, the black-faced Trazter are supposed to tease the Krampus (devils), who are allowed to react.

    Hi ignorant critics,

I think the time has come for me to say something. Because I'm the one with the blue jacket who took the kick while standing on the ground. For me, the scenes in the video are not at all serious. Like every year, I left with my friends in the morning to look for the devils, because we want to take "beating". In fact we can't wait until finally comes December 5. We are like little children waiting for Christmas. The day of the devils for many Vipitenesi is the most beautiful day of the year. Maybe for people who don't know what the video is about it can seem brutal, but for us it is normal. If you wait until the end of the video you see that all the "Tratzer" (those who go around to irritate the devils and who gladly take a beating) approach the devils again. The scenes of the video took place around 13:00-13:30 and all of us Tratzer continued in the same way until the evening. And this shows that it's not really so bad what happened and that we also like to spend the day getting beaten. Of course there are some bruises the next day but I never really hurt myself and I don't know anyone who really hurt themselves, because we know very well what will happen and so we dress well.
And still something about the 'accusation of racism: I was born in Sterzing and I know everyone in the video, both devils but also Tratzer, and none of them is a migrant.
I am friends with the devils of Vipiteno and I write these lines, because I don't want anything to endanger this wonderful day for me.

Best regards from a real Tratzer, Maximilian Ploner
