Negroes don't sing better, they tend to sing in the R n' B which is popluar in the Chad culture to pick up women. They aren't better singers. Most white people are trying to copy the Negro style because it was popularized by shows such as American Idol and over the top female singers. The best singers are White men.

I've heard and seen a trend, since the 1980's where a lot of the younger to mid-age singers have emulated and tried to copy-make many of the unpleasant and undesirable African American vocal styles. I hear a lot of it these days from African Americans, but from many others too. Much of the bad stuff is from "raspy" screaming and/or shouting. On the other hand, we do have a lot fine singing from African Americans too (much of it from earlier times), so it kind of balances out. Paul Robeson is a good example of wonderfully talented African American Singers.

There are not a lot of Africans that have the means to study opera singing, so I would say it's remarkable that she's even there next to Karajan.

Really those who put the stars of the Motown or the jazz before these are mad.

The difference between an operatic barytone or tenor and a singer of jazz/funk is abysmal in terms of vocal range, personal work, clarity of the high-pitched note, vocal power, ability to change very rapidly octaves and also doing pianissimo ...
