what is official position of Afghansitan in the world? though from what I have seen Afghans associate with Indians the most on geopolitical level. Also many Afgans support indians in cricket.

Its position is within the iranic plateau. Geographically speaking it's distinct from the Indian plate I. E. The subcontinent. The indus river is the split off point. Also, the reason why Afghans and Indian relationship is good is is because its shared mutual hate for Pakistan. Its true. Just look at all the comments sections. Also what the user above didn't show wss the map that includes Afghanistan under the Indian influence is regarding Buddhism historically, and it applies to Eastern Afghanistan. He got it off Wikipedia.

This one is seriously pushing it I don’t really have a problem with the first map if I’m honest but to say Afghanistan is greater India is laughable. It is no more Indian than Southeast Asia culturally.
