    Default White-Asian mixtures classifications(1/4 Asians)

    Hey guys,
I have a friend from LA who has a Asian grandmother and I'm wondering what would he be considered.

For instance, I know for Ameridians and Blacks:

    Ameridian
    Indomestizo
    Mestizo
    Castizo
    White

    Black
    Mulatto
    Quadroon

For Asian we only have Hafu and that's Japanese term. I wonder if there's other classification terms. Since in the West coast especially, there's a lot of intermixture between Whites and Asians. This doesn't happen in Latin America since Spaniards and Asian's don't mix. Therefore, they don't have classification for Asians.

However, Anglos and Asians do mix, there's a always a Anglo guy with his Asian girlfriend..etc.

"Hafu" (which is romanized in a dumb way because it's actually "haafu" / "hāfu" / "ハーフ") can also refer to someone who is half Japanese and half black, or even to someone who is a half-and-half mix between two non-Japanese ethnicities.

For example in the Japanese song Rassun Gorerai, one line is "俺サウジとインドのハーフちゃう" ("ore sauji to indo no haafu chau", "I'm not a half of Saudi and Indian").

The Wikipedia article titled "Hāfu" also says this: "In a wider sense, the word can be used to describe a child between any combination of mixed parents. For example "Meghan Markle is a hāfu between a Black and a White"."

Anyway, "quapa" is one term for what you're asking (https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Quapa):

However in the case of both the terms "hapa" and "quapa", the part that is not Asian or Pacific Islander is not required to be white.

Yes mix is common in Brazil, white with Japanese, but we have less Asians than the USA.

Never heard classification, they are only mix people.
