My God, Tengri, you compared the US with its parasitic dollar system to Cuba, which is completely isolated from the rest of the world. Compare better shit called capitalist state of Haiti and Cuba. Socialism is better when the country has few resources. A more serious answer is that capitalism is the best system to accurately divide labor and organize the hierarchy within industry. The system encourages innovation and personal responsibility and frugality. On paper. Why it doesn’t work is the same reason communism will never work. And that is human nature. The greed component specifically. People at the top will horde resources until there isn’t enough for other people to live normal lives. The general population struggles until they reach a certain point. Then it’s chimping out time, voting for socialist policies and great division in society which cannot exist if society is to run smoothly.


A good example is what’s going on right now.
The 78 percent of Americans living paycheck to paycheck aren’t lazy people. They are people that make this nation run smoothly with the services they provide. But wages aren’t keeping up with cost. This can’t continue indefinitely. Something will pop.
