Do you consider Ruthenians in Slovakia and Romania to be Ukrainian?
It is always kind of split frankly depending on who you ask within the community.

I consider them to be ruthenians(Rusyn) and think of them as an ethnic Slavic group with a culture which is a mix of Slovak Ukrainian and Hungarian elements.

No. They are not Ukrainians and they are genetically different from Ukrainians. I met few Rusyns and they are very angry Ukrainians are trying to assimilate them.
