When I had to buy a sim card in Mamaris (i was visiting rhodes), I had to sign some strange contract before being able to to purchase the item. The document looked political to me and seemed to be allow the government to track my phone calls. I don't live there but I have been there and my relatives and Mother live there. Vodafone Turkey which was the cheapest SIM card in the cornershop that they shared with UK based companies(750 minutes - 200 sms and some 25 GB data) although it was valid only for turkey and not in the EU. Trust me, they made me sign some sort document that was politically charged, I am not making this shit up. If it were not for that paper document I would not even memorised the incident.
