Both at the same time. A lot of left-wingers and far-righters - at least in Brazil - do share some identical caracteristics. "Third Wordism" is such a cold war thing, and it is used to talk about poor capitalist countries. Taking into account the brazilian reality, some said "conservative and nationalist" people do defend such things as economic protectionism, civil servants, and economic nationalism against foreign countries. I really hate a lot of western (mainly US and Western Europe) ideals, and if this fact makes me a third worlder, so I'm a third worlder. I will never stand for such things like consumerism, materialism and commodification of all human activities.

Read this discussion. Many posts say that they hardly even hear the term 'interracial' in Colombia, let alone regard such relations as something taboo: https://www.reddit.com/r/Colombia/co...riosa_que_tan/

And this academic study too: http://www.scielo.org.co/pdf/tara/n18/n18a02.pdf

No one denies the existence of racism and hierarchy in the region, just that it is less pernicious than elsewhere in the world when it comes to personal relations in particular.

As a side note, Hispanics in the US are also less opposed to mixed-race relationships than either Whites or Blacks in that country are: https://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2017...intermarriage/

I have a very time believing countries like Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan, and others with Shariah Law are left wing.

Country turns into a Third World place when citizens can't notice & understand less than the minimum threshold of things needed to sustain modern civilization. Its sort of a social buffer overflow. I guess in modern world most would put the blame on some sort of liberalism, but that wrong conclusion.

As I explained in the OP, I don't mean being Third World in an economic sense; I mean Third Worldism as an ideology, i.e. fighting for the putative interests of said Third World countries against the supposed hegemony of the West.
