Name actors who you thought they were from your country as a kid, but they werent.

Imagine yourself as a young lad watching movies, is there any actor who you thought was from your country and later when you grew up you find out he was from completely different country?

I grew up as a pleb in a village next to Hungarian border, where my grandpa used to watch Bud Spencer on RTL KLUB 24/7 and I always thought he was Hungarian, this was at age like 7.
