Default The Ecology of the Dissident Right

Modern Environmentalism sprang from 19th century Nationalist political philosophy, directly inspired from the traditionalism, art, and cultural developments within the Europeanist movement. However, this ecological outlook had a deep, primordial past within the European consciousness, rooted in cosmic orders and the sacred balance between Man and Nature...

I don't buy that mystical stuff. Nature doesn't support a caste system any more than it does 'equality'. Nature is governed by mechanistic or probabilistic laws and doesn't care about our ideologies or political systems. But we do, and that should be enough. That said, it's true that love for nature and conservationism aren't, or weren't, exclusive possession of the left. In fact I think that old style Marxism didn't give a damn about environment, nature was considered just a tool that humans should exploit for their own benefit. As with many other things, cultural Marxism and neoliberal leftism has hijacked environmentalism as well.
