What about Libyans? Also are Egyptians more related to Levantines? 23AndMe class them together.
I think Moroccans and Algerians might be the ones who remain the truest to their Berber roots? Can someone please shed some light on the matter.
Also did many Saudis settle North Africa at the time they seized power.

I've never seen a tunisian gedmatch kit. Do they shift really towards Europe compared to other NAs ? I believe that there are few samples from this area unfortunately.

Makes sense, I think Moroccans and Algerians are the most Beber now. However, recently I saw a video of an Algerian scoring a decent amount of non-NA blood: 22% more and less. Tunisians are a very lovely bunch. They were a Phoenician colony and also have big European communities.
The Algerian guy...
Does he look typical Algerian? I don't know, he could pass in Southern Europe and the Levant to be honest. Moroccans strike me as darker and with more curly hair hence why I though Algerians looked differently and had more European/Levantine admixture.

It depends west libyans are mainly NA with the berbers of the djebel nefoussa scoring very high amount of NA but eastern libyans on the other side are mainly Middle easterners (it's probably the only region in NA where berbers have been successfully replaced). As for egyptians i don't really know much about them ( i've seen some of them scoring a lot of NA 70-80% but I've also seen some of them scoring lots of levantine so it can vary).
All maghrebis are mainly berber and the purest of them are found in Chenini (tunisia), among mozabites (algeria) and also soussi (morocco). Coastal berbers tend to have less ssa and more european components than other NAs. Saudis never really settled in NA(except in eastern libya and some parts of Egypt) and during the conquest of the maghreb they mainly used freshly converted berber tribes from libya. The only moment when arabs came in high number was during the hilalian invasions ( fatimids wanted to punish their zirid vassals so they sent turbulent arabian tribes to north-west africa. These arab tribes did a lot of damages but were finally defeated by the almohads and taken to morocco to fight in spain against the christians. These arabs didn't really impacted the demography of the region but from a socio-cultural point of view they clearly played a big role and amplified the arabization process).
