You should start testing downstream SNP's of J1, I already came pretty far (e-cts12227) and today I've purchased a full genome sequence of Dante labs (very cheap, 150 euros) and it allows you to upload your BAM file to Yfull). This is the only way to certainly know where your paternal ancestry came from, the branch you'll end up in will reveal if it's clustered with Spaniards or not.

I agree, majority of J1 carriers in North Africa are of Arab origin.

Normally this testing costs at least 400 Euros, this is the most cheapest time to buy.

I have no idea tbh because I only ordered the kit for Y-DNA purpose. They give you the raw DNA and you should upload it on another website, they don't give you autosomal results.
