J1 is pretty old, it could've come through many waves (neolithic immigrations, Carthagian immigration, Arab immigration).

Yes of course but most moroccan J1 i saw had a specific arab subclade and on mytrueancestry my matches who had j1 were from spain (idk if it's accurate) anyway I should try to find my subclade to be sure

Well, more than 90% of all the subclades that the J1 carriers of North Africa are of Arabian origins.
